Is This Weather Beautiful or What?

I'm just saying.  I'm loving it.

This is just a brief update.  I must confess:  I didn't do the protective style Sunday.  I had a lot to do so I had to skimp on my hurr...I moistened it with water, added my oils, and pinned it in a high bun.  That's how I wore it to church, and most of the week it was either in a high bun or low bun.  Yep, pretty simple.  But I did do a little better on Thursday.  I did a twist out and rolled the ends with my black foam rollers with the satin covers.  ((Check out my pics below))

I've decided to trim my own ends.  I really don't want to, but then again I don't trust a stylist to respect my vision with this transition...ya'll know about those scissor happy stylists out there that may try to do me a 'favor' (and accelerate my transition, if you get my drift).  With my luck I'd end up going to that type of stylist to get the ends whacked.  I'm not looking to CUT my hair.  I just want to keep the ends healthy and maintain as much length as possible.  So, I'll let you know if I meet triumph or tragedy in my attempts to trim my own ends.  I used to trim my ends in college, and I wasn't too bad, but my hair was uneven.  I mean, it was a'ight.  I just have these layers now and I feel like that makes it more complicated.  But we shall see.

On a different note:  Those who know me know that I'm really adamant about checking out youtube to follow ladies who have made the BC or transition into their own "napturality."  I've subscribed to so many channels in the last two weeks.  And I keep learning so much great information, and am constantly motivated and empowered to continue my journey.  I'm still uncertain of what my goals are with this blog.  Right now I'm the only subscriber and so it's like an online journal, but who knows where this can lead to or what it may inspire within me.  Hmm, we'll see.  Right now I'm not so anxious to get on the YT yet because I'm still learning so much, but it would be nice if I do graduate to that type of forum some day.  As with the blog, and even being my one and only subscriber: "If you build it they will come" just came to mind.  I haven't been putting my blog out there very much because I'm still learning, and a bit protective and sensitive about it right now.  It's like my baby right now, but we'll see.

Well, I promised I'd be brief.  Enjoy yourselves!  Be safe out there, whoever, and where ever you are!

Peace and Blessings!
